The present study aimed to investigate the level of social anxiety disorder among university students, using the LSAS (Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale) and clinical interviews as diagnostic tools. The study followed a descriptive-analytical approach and involved a sample of (sample size) male and female students from various academic disciplines at (University name). The results revealed a significant proportion of students suffering from varying degrees of social anxiety. Statistically significant gender differences were observed, with females showing higher levels of social anxiety than males. Clinical interviews further revealed cases requiring direct therapeutic intervention. The study recommends activating psychological counseling services in universities and implementing awareness and treatment programs tailored to this group.
